The Board of Trustees is responsible for the governance, management, and oversight of the Postal Corporation of Kenya Staff Pension Scheme. Guided by the Trust Deed and Rules, the Trustees are committed to safeguarding members’ retirement benefits through prudent administration, transparency, accountability, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
In fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities, the Trustees:
- Manage, supervise, and administer the Scheme for the benefit of all members and their dependants.
- Ensure the timely payment of retirement and other benefits in accordance with the Scheme’s Trust Deed and Rules.
- Uphold and implement the provisions of the Trust Deed and Rules in all aspects of Scheme administration.
- Ensure full compliance with the Retirement Benefits Act (RBA), the Income Tax Act, and all other applicable legislation governing the administration and management of the Scheme.
The Trustees remain dedicated to protecting members’ interests, promoting sound governance, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Scheme for current and future beneficiaries.
